So, it can be nice to have the option to wheel the crib in, and then wheel it out later when baby moves into a nursery. The wheels can also be locked, so the crib will stay in place when you want it to stay still.

What makes this crib special is that when the wheels are removed, the crib can be rocked. When babies are young, parents often hold them as they go to sleep. Believe it or not, it can be really hard to transition baby from your arms to the crib without waking the little one up. Having a crib that rocks will help baby to get used to falling asleep without being held by mom or dad. In addition, if your little one falls asleep in the crib, there is no need for you to make any sort of transition and risk disturbing the little snoozer.
