The wheels are all-terrain, which means that this stroller can do well on gravel, dirt, or cobblestone—so you can pretty much take it anywhere. It has a suspension frame, which makes the ride less bumpy on these different surfaces.

The handlebar is adjustable, which is good if you and your partner are different heights. There is a small storage basket on the bottom for diaper bags or toys.

Plush, padded seats allow for extra comfort, and they fully recline for your little ones to take naps. There are also vented seat tops, allowing for a nice breeze on hot days. 

There is a large adjustable canopy to protect them from the hot sun. The canopy is separate, giving options for each kid. Peek-a-boo windows are also available for you to check in on your passengers whenever you need to. 

Convenient for traveling in the car, this stroller is car seat adaptable. You can fasten a compatible car seat directly on to the stroller. 

As far as downsides go, this stroller is a bit too easy to tip over on unstable ground. The storage basket is small, difficult to access, and there’s nowhere to hang things on the handlebars. The seats are slightly cramped, width-wise, so may not be the best for larger children.

Kolcraft Cloud Lightweight And Compact Double Umbrella Stroller

This side-by-side stroller is super lightweight. It weighs only 21 pounds alone and is easy to fold and store. It is compact and convenient for transporting around.

The Kolcraft Cloud Lightweight and Compact Double Umbrella Stroller is one of the most affordable double strollers on the market. If you are on a tight budget, and have kids about the same age (or twins), this might be the stroller for you. 

The canopy is big enough to shade the little ones for hot days in the park. There is a back canopy extension to help shield and protect the backs of their heads. The seat unzips, revealing a mesh material, allowing for a nice breeze. This part rolls up into a headrest, which creates a nice pillow for the kids.

One nice feature of this stroller is that the seats recline for when your kids are napping. 

For easy maneuvering, this option is a plus, as it turns easily and the weight is evenly distributed. No wheels jamming or sliding around like many similar strollers. 

The handles are comfortable to hold, and the foot brake works quite well.

One disadvantage might be that there is no storage space for bags or your personal belongings. You would have to hang your bags onto the handle of the stroller or carry them.

Also, the side-by-side style is wide for passing through doorways. The fastener is a lap buckle, not a five-point harness, which may be concerning if your kids are always trying to wiggle out.

A full-coverage canopy allows for sufficient sun protection, in addition to the peek-a-boo feature for you to check on the kids whenever you need to. The back includes a ventilation option for a breeze on hot days. 

The seats recline completely for little ones to take naps, or for quick diaper changes. This model is even safe for newborns to ride in.

As for storage, there are mesh pockets on the side of each seat, as well as two baskets underneath. There are also three cup holders included.

It easily folds and auto locks with the seats attached. The seat recline option gives your kids a chance to nap.

It rides smoothly, with rubber-coated back wheels that help with suspension on rough terrain. There is a foot brake that is easy to use, even if you are wearing sandals. 

The stroller is an aluminum frame weighing only 34 pounds, keeping it lightweight and easy to transport. There is an extra-large storage basket with zippers on the sides to carry your belongings. 

For safety, there is a padded five-point harness to help secure your children into the stroller, which is padded and comfortable. Bumper bars are included for extra safety.

Canopy features block sun from your kids’ faces. It also includes a mesh panel with peek-a-boo windows, so you can check on them easily.

Downsides are that this stroller is not the easiest to steer and maneuver. The cup-holder for parents is too small to hold many beverages and the seat recline feature is somewhat complicated. Not all car seats are adaptable, and you may need to make extra purchases to utilize this feature.

It is easy to compact for a double stroller and folds and unfolds quickly with sturdy handles. The small folded dimensions make it convenient to store into the trunk of the car.

The front tires have suspension, making it great for all-terrains, including dirt or cobblestone roads. Your children can sit comfortably without feeling every bump in the road.

For comfort, the back of the seat is padded and perfect for naps or long days. There’s a five-point harness for safety. The other seatbelt in the back is of poor quality, and does not serve much of a purpose.

There is a canopy to shield the kids’ faces from the sun. It’s pretty small, though, and does not provide full coverage.

Easy to maneuver through doorways, this stroller makes it easy to get around, especially through stores or office clinics. The standing child has plenty of room and the freedom to sit on a bench if they desire. The JOOVY Caboose Too Graphite Stand-on Tandem Stroller is easy to set-up, and opening the stroller doesn’t take much effort. It is not too bulky and fits in the car easily. At under 32 pounds, this model is light enough to lift and transport around without breaking your back.

It is compact and easy to maneuver. The rear seat can be removed and is versatile, or can be reclined, which is great for your child to take naps. The front seat can hold an infant, and recline into three different positions. A drawback is that the latches must be pulled at an odd angle to fold it, making it a bit awkward to collapse and store. 

Canopy coverage is big enough to cover both kids from above, which is a plus for shielding them from the sun. However, the rear one only doesn’t protect from the sides.

The car seat adapter can fit most brands, and is a nice option for easy travel. Safety belts are simple to adjust and secure for both kids. The standing option is great for an older child who can’t sit still.

As far as storage goes, there is a large basket to hold all your belongings from snacks to diaper bags. When your toddler sits in the back, however, it eliminates most of the storage space.

The Evenflo Pivot Xpand Modular Travel System stroller made it to my list as it is lightweight, easy to carry, and high quality. It’s a nice-looking stroller, and comparable to some high-end models.

There are 22 configurations that include seating options and adjusting the height. This makes it easy to change the way your children sit to fit their needs and yours. 

The foot brake is easy to use and it is easy to steer. The handlebar is adjustable, which can be great if you and your partner are of different heights. 

The storage basket in this model is huge, and easy to use even with both kids in the stroller. The folding motion is simple and relatively compact, and the seat can be removed with minimal effort. Watch out for your fingers when folding, though, as it is not an easy latch to close.

This double stroller is a bit bulky and can be challenging to fit into the trunk of a small car. It is less bulky than many double strollers on the market and can be easily converted into a single later on, which is a plus for some parents. 

One plus is that the car seat is attachable to the frame without having to purchase any additional adapters. 

The seat pad is washable, which is convenient for when your infant makes an “uh-oh” or a mess.

This stroller doesn’t take up much space, and is easy to travel with. At 18.3 pounds, it is incredibly lightweight and fits in the back of any car.

The canopy is compact, but barely covers the faces of the kids. 

The model is not very wide or bulky, which allows you to easily fit through doorways. No struggling to get in and out of the shops!

A 360-degree wheel rotation ability makes maneuvering quite convenient. It pushes smoothly and the wheels also lock easily, which is a plus. The wheels themselves are not very durable, thus the stroller may not last you long.

Reclinable seats allow the kids to sit back slightly while napping so that they don’t fall forward, but they don’t recline fully.

There are mesh bags on the back of the stroller to hold some snacks or a rain cover. It includes one snap-on cup holder, but it is small and at an angle, so it can only hold smaller bottles with lids.

Some downsides are that the handles are low for taller people, and are not adjustable. Plus if the kids push too hard on the footrest, it can rub on the wheels.

The Evenflo Minno Twin Double Stroller is incredibly lightweight, weighing only 26 pounds on its own. The width of the frame is 27 inches, allowing it to fit easily through doorways.

The stroller is easy to fold together and stands up on its own, which is convenient for storage. Set up takes less than 10 minutes and is easy to do if you are following the instructions. 

It’s easy to maneuver around and great for traveling. On the downside, the wheels are small and plastic, so it is difficult to push on some terrain. There is little to no suspension, so your kids will feel most bumps. 

Each seat has its own reclining option, which is useful for when the kids want to take a nap. It’s not an easy mechanism to use, though, and the seats don’t recline all the way back.

There is sufficient storage underneath to hold belongings including snacks and diaper bags. 

The canopy is small with a clear plastic peek-a-boo window. A plus is that the stroller can fold and unfold with the canopy still attached. 

A five-point harness allows for your kids to be safely secured, and is easy to adjust for their comfort. However, the leg rests don’t always stay down; they sometimes pop up out of place. Plus, there is only one cup holder and it is rather flimsy.

This stroller has some wonderful features besides the fact that it looks beautiful. The Britax B-Lively Double Stroller is quite versatile for a side-by-side stroller.

This model is lightweight (29 pounds) and easy to put together, as it is all one piece. If you don’t want to have to worry about assembling many parts, this may be appealing to you. It doesn’t take up much space and fits in the back of a compact car with relative ease.

For its width, it maneuvers smoothly and is not difficult to push. Because of the width, however, the stroller may have some trouble getting through narrow hallways or doorways. The handlebar is adjustable for different heights. 

A nice feature is the large canopy which blocks the shade well, protecting your little ones from the sun. There is a ventilation option to let in a nice breeze as well, and a peek-a-boo window. 

The storage basket is extra large and allows you to carry your personal belongings as well as your kids’ snack and diaper bags. You can even use this basket for shopping! 

It is car seat adaptable with certain models that are compatible and specific adaptors. The car seat adapters are sold separately and must be compatible, which could mean extra cost for you. 

The parking brake is easy to use and locks both wheels at the same time. The buckle on the chairs is sometimes hard to snap as it pulls away from the shoulder.

It has all the most essential features that I require in a stroller while being easy to carry and store at the same time. I can take the kids on any terrain solo, shield them from the sun (and see them easily) while storing everything I need.
